BATH AND DRY
The Dog Room has a Bath and Dry option if you would like your canine friend to have a freshen up without the extras. We use all natural shampoos, free from nasties so it's kind on dogs skin. We care for the environment too - so on the plus side the shampoo is made in Britain 🇬🇧 and is palm oil free.
A bath and dry is a great option for in-between grooms to keep on top of the coat.
Prices start from £20 depending on the breed, coat type and coat condition.
DE-SHED
If your dog sheds hair A LOT then having them groomed regularly can really help remove some of that loose hair. It's amazing how much comes out in the hydrobath and professional dry.
You can choose to add on a De-Shed Mud Treatment. The mud treatment is a spa day for your dog - It hydrates the coat, refreshes the skin and works to remove lots of dead hair from the follicle. We have had great reviews from owners.
PUPPY INTRODUCTIONS
Our puppy introductions allow your pup to become accustomed to the grooming process which will benefit them for life. Dogs that have been groomed from a puppy are more relaxed and can enjoy their visit. A doggy pamper shouldn't be a scary ordeal.
Puppy introductions can begin two weeks after they have had their second vaccinations. The earlier the better. Sessions begin as half hour apart from the bathe and dry session which may take longer dependant upon the coat type.
☆ The first session is all about allowing your puppy to have a sniff of the salon. They will be introduced to the comb, brush and clipper vibrations. Most importantly the first session is aimed at having fun in the salon environment.
☆ The second session would consist of introducing the sounds of the hydrobath and dryer. I would look to tidy the feet, clear the eye area and do a hygiene trim.
☆ If I felt your pup was confident enough I would bathe and dry them on the third session. Followed by a trim of the paws, pads, nails, eye area and a hygiene trim.
Puppies are not made to undergo a full groom until I feel they are ready. Pushing a puppy too early will make for longer, more stressful grooms for them throughout life. I observe the dogs body language throughout their time with me and will stop when the dog has had enough.
Puppy sessions start from £20 depending on breed.
NAILS
I offer a stand alone nail trim service that consists of clearing the pads of hair and trimming the nails.
The cost of this service is £8.
